A LAST WALK AROUND TOWN

Yesterday I had to visit a small business (NOT a bakery), just loose ends to tie up prior to the trip on Monday. I realized that this might be the final walk around town for a while.

So let me post some pictures of that stroll around Jarnac. This way you get some final impressions of this town as well.

Delamain's Cognac vault was open for an airing, they are a smaller, but fine producer and you could smell the Eau de vie quite a while before you passed their Chai.
I finally took a picture of the local pastor's court yard, one of our favorites here in town with this big olive tree in the middle.

à bientôt

Besides money and work one also invests a lot of emotions into those places and homes. It hurts to say au revoir - at least for a while.
I very much enjoyed seeing your pictures and following you around this little town - so it's au revoir also for your audience!
Now let's see what the future brings ;)

How about your place, Sheila? What would you say to that?

Agreed on emotions, Karl. But we are always full of energy about future plan and adventures as well.

So, very soon, at a Taco stand near you......

Lots of taco stands here in Texas,
but it's BORING.

Variety is the spice in the kitchen, Sheila.
I always liked visiting places in Teas. Such bold people.
Been to a few places.

How about BBQ!!
