BBQ FOOD TRUCK

Calgary. Alberta. Canada. Not really an ideal location to go into the food truck business. With those 47 days of warm weather we get, it's a pretty short season.  But then, there is a fleet of food trucks in Edmonton apparently, they even put together a food truck festival this month. What do I know about the food industry.

Anyway. Thanks to Chowhound ( http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/791219) you can find out about a Calgary based Food Truck, which from Wednesday through Sunday is parked outside BBQ Galore on Edmonton Trail and ensures that our friends to the north are not too far ahead when it comes to food trends. I mean, come on. Edmonton? Since when?

Housed in a converted RV, Jody from JoJo's BBQ, serves BBQ. Smart move. A Cowtown food truck sticks to what Calgary eats. Meats.
No Portland Fusion stuff. Just basics. Add some excellent Slaw, and maybe the best garlic fries you ever had, we got a winner.

I ordered a Brisket sandwich, which was the best brisket in my memory. Skip the bun people, all else is gluten free in that meal I had. Maybe ask for a little more Slaw than what I got, but all else, excellence in a truck.

Mmm, it's a simple meal, but it looks tasty! Well, there's no need for fancy stuff when food like that is available. Food trucks rock - it's kinda appealing to have food served in places where food trucks hang out, no?
