The best Cherries, the tastiest gluten free cake mix, fresh whipped cream and Callebaut Chocolate shavings. These ingredients make one of the best gluten free dessert experiences at GF PATISSERIE. Or in my case, breakfast treat..with a nice Cappuccino.
Schwarzwaelder Kirsch Torte never really was a favorite of mine until Victoria started to make it. The original recipe asks for a couple of generous shots of Kirschwasser, a potent spirit which always gave the cake that alcohol taste. Never liked it. Actually, I don't like any alcohol in my sweets. None. Muchbetter when the sweet chocolate and the sour cherries dominate the flavors.
So if you are headed out to the bakery this weekend, make sure to buy a slice or two for the weekend.
