CALGARY FOOD BLOGGERS BAKE SALE

An email arrived in my mailbox a few days ago, asking The Celiac Husband if he would be able to participate in a bakesale benefitting our great  Calgary Meals on Wheels?

Yes, of course, but I don't bake. Luckily, the head baker (Lauren) and big boss (Victoria) from GF PATISSERIE embraced the idea to bake for me and will make those Pumpkin suqares with Cinnamon Butter cream everybody loves so much, Gluten free of course.

Vincci from this Blog http://not-a-foodblog.blogspot.com/  organized the monumental task to get all those local food bloggers together for a weekend and bake up a storm.
The exciting part for my Celiac readers is that there seems to be a total of three GF bakers who will bring their gluten free goodies, so this is definitely worth your time to visit. The Celiac Teen and Crazy Kitchen are the other gluten free bakers.
A total of 18 Bloggers donated their time and baking efforts for this fundraiser, I am bringing Isabella for the closing hours on Sunday. It's a great cause. And your chance to meet some faces behind some really cool Blogs in this city.

Held in conjunction with the second anniversary of the Market Collective this weekend, Sat from 10 to 6 and Sunday from 11 to 5. It's located at the old Ant Hill fabric Store in Kensington, at 148 - 10th Street NW.
