As with most bakeries that I know, GF or regular, Saturday is the busiest day. GF PATISSERIE is no exception. A lot goes into that day, starting with Lauren who comes in very early to get the bread orders out of the way.
Victoria arrives a short while later, sets up the rest of the cakes, cookies and starts weighing the bread.
Let me tell you, sharp 10am the people start coming in and it basically keeps going all day. Though it slows down after 2, it's a hectic day for the bakery.
Add to that my Paninis today, it was amazing. Victoria is very happy, because it shows that quality and freshness has a market, even if it is as small as less than 1% of the population.
Yes, I was sold out of Paninis by 1pm. It was a blast. Hope you liked them.

Hi Shirley,
it was a blast to make those paninis.
Stopped by via David Lebovitz blog - this is really cool! I love family owned bakeries! There's something really special in the way they prepare and present their goodies!
hello MC,
thanks for dropping in. I like your website.
