While I was nursing a bit of a hangover Sunday, Victoria kept researching suitable delectables for the best gluten free line up of seasonal baked goods.
When I got up this morning, I found some cookies that were not there the night before....shortbread! Goes with Coffee? You bet. Nothing like a sugar rush at 6am.
I know it's early to tell you about Christmas. Just keeping you informed what's going on. That's all...

I can never get the GF Shortbread to work... i had wondered if it was just the recipe i was using and i guess this proves it!
Once again i am in awe of Victoria's Baking skills!
It's never too early to think about Christmas! As of tomorrow, it is exactly four months away. Yes, I'm a holidork so these things matter to me! Can't wait to see what new products roll out in the next few months, I know that whatever they are they will be awesome. Especially if they include the words Naniamo and Bar. Sorry I couldnt resist!
My son and I are celiac and and recently started reading your blog. Do you ship your pastries to the US? Yours look so much better than what I make...
Hi Jess,
the shortbread cookies are not yet ready to be sold. So tricky....
Nanaimo Bars....put on shortlist for Fan #1!!
Victoria does not use any preservatives, whichunfortunately makes shipping impossible...
You may just have to abandon your pretty home state and move in with us?
I would love to wake up in your house to gf shortbread cookies and coffee!
I got an idea Carol, let's do a book signing at GF PATISSERIE!
You guys are not early ... you're a month behind for the Christmas in July celebrations! We have radio stations that play Christmas music one week in July and other such silliness here. (To be honest, I kind of like those songs that make me think of snow when it's 90 degrees!)
I love shortbread. I've made it and it turned out well, but I end up eating it all because Mr. GFE's sweet tooth has different preferences from mine. ;-)
Lovely breakfast! Good for Victoria planning ahead. :-)
