CREME BRULEE

It seems that Lauren finally has found the right size takeout cup to make Creme Brulee. Gorgeous little cups of creamy sweetness, with a nice layer of caramelized sugar.

Go get some! A bargain @2.50

Those look great! And I bet she has a lot of fun torching them. That's my favorite part of creme brulee making.

I saw these in the bakery yesterday, perhaps I shall pick one up today.

And pick one up I did (although strawberry)! Cupcakes are good too! Always good!

Hey Allison,

it is the best part about making Creme Brulee. I like to play with fire.

The creme brulee is amazing! Even better than we both expected. A perfect treat!

And of course the cupcakes were perfect!

Maybe sometime when we stop by you'll be there. I told Victoria that so far in our minds you don't exist because we haven't met you :P She said you are a phantom blogger lol!

Ah, my absolute favorite naturally GF fine dessert! One of my dearest girlfriends made about 20 for our Valentine's Day party last Saturday. With my flourless cake, turtles, brown sugar chocolate chip cookies, etc. we had just the right combination of sweets. I bet these fly out the door of the shop!

Anonymoose,

Calgary is getting less expensive to live by the week....

But we don't have Famoso's Pizza down here. So it's a trade off...

Nicole,

I am actually Victoria, posting as The Celiac Husband...NOT. Or maybe yes?

This summer I will be making Paninis Saturdays.

Hi Shirley,

I should have mentioned that Lauren used those vanilla beans from Tahiti. Pungent stuff.

That's what I make my homemade vanilla extract from ... those wonderful Tahitian vanilla beans. That creme brulee must be awesome!

Panini Saturday's sound like a good tradition for me. First my panini, then an hour or so of touring on the bike. I could get used to that!

The first weekend was awesome! Lots of exploring and discovering! Cochrane is awesome!
