SESAME SNAPS

While waiting in line to check out at Sobey's, I saw this sign with a price of .44 on it. What can I buy for 44 cents? Not really much I thought. Still, I had to check out that bucket and what's in it.

Sesame snaps. Huh. Made in Poland. And Gluten Free. Did I mention .44 cents?
I know that Victoria always has some of those Bumblebee bars in her car for a quick snack, so I bought a small bag full to see what she says. Original honey and Vanilla. Isabella liked them. I am sure Victoria will too.

I love these so much! I had a bad experience once, however, where I found a piece of glass in one of the bars (it was a cheap brand). Don't know how that happened, but I haven't bought since. I may buy them again though cause I do love these.

Glass? That's harsh.

Poland probably has different standards of manufacturing now than back then......

Yeah, the glass was terrible... so painful. I've been scared of sesame snaps since. They used to be one of my favorite snacks. A lot of the time you can find them for .33cents.

I am one of the folks who is not a big fan of the GF foods made of sesame seeds. Seems too much like bird food to me! LOL I know a lot of people like the crunch though. And, definitely a good price!

I love these. We get them in New Zealand but I think they are probably the same ones. Didn't realize they were made on Poland. All my spare supplies are at work in my desk drawer for when I need. Snack.

I know this is an older post but wanted to share my experience in case it helps others... I live in Ontario and you can buy these at many dollar stores for good price (these are too made in Poland). I loved them!
HOWEVER, I definetly had a small reaction to one of them - I bought it at the dollar store as a three-pack. The OUTSIDE packaging said GF, there was no GF marking on the individually packaged sesame bars.
I am very sensitive and maybe the levels of gluten were still within the acceptable limits, but wanted to let others know in case you feel like you've been glutenized by these! *sigh
